From what age can players join the Residency Academy?

The Residency Academy welcomes players aged 16 and older. We accept minor players, who are 16 or 17 years old, only for stays of 1 or 2 months, provided they are accompanied by a guardian.

What type of player profile are you looking for?

We are looking for players who are passionate, determined, and eager to develop their technical and tactical skills.

Is the Residency Academy open to all levels?

The Residency Academy is designed for advanced / elite players with high-potential.

How can I know if I have the level to commit to the Residency Academy?

Players who wish to enter the Residency Academy must participate in tryouts sessions, either online or in person in Toulouse, France. Visit the tryouts page for more information.

What opportunities are available to players in the Residency Academy?

Players will benefit from advanced development programs and have the opportunity to train and participate in competitions, tournaments with our French amateur club partner, Toulouse Metropole Football Club.

Can attending the Residency Academy lead to a professional soccer career for me?

The European Soccer Pro Academy offers an optimal setting for talented international players aspiring to forge a professional soccer career in Europe or beyond. It's essential to note that there is no assurance of becoming a professional soccer player, and we do not commit to players securing signings, scholarships, or professional contracts. What we do guarantee is equipping every player with the necessary tools and training to maximize their potential.

Who are the coaches?

The European Soccer Pro Academy brings together highly qualified soccer professionals at its center in France. All coaches hold UEFA A licenses and possess extensive experience, particularly as experts in youth development. Drawing from solid backgrounds in the professional realm as former players or coaches, they possess the expertise needed to effectively train, support, and condition players. What is the training methodology?

The French training methodology at our soccer academy encapsulates a holistic and innovative approach to player development. Rooted in the rich legacy of French football, our program emphasizes meticulous technical drills, tactical intelligence, and strategic decision-making. Guided by the expertise of our director, who has undergone the comprehensive stages of training in France, our methodology integrates dynamic dribbling, precision in heading, robust physical conditioning, and insightful video analysis. What is the schedule outside of soccer sessions during the week?

The schedule includes mandatory french courses, gym, physical conditioning activities, and rest times to ensure a balance between sports and education. See the full schedule for more information.

Are the french courses mandatory?

Yes, in order for the players to be fully immersed in the french culture, the french courses are mandatory. The courses are dispensed by Alliance française de toulouse. Players will have to study french 17.5 hours per week.

What do players do on the weekends?

There are limitless options for activities, excursions, and leisure experiences. Throughout the year, residents engage in a variety of pursuits, including cycling, swimming, bowling, hiking, and cultural outings. They have the opportunity to attend professional football games and explore cities such as Paris, Barcelona, and Bordeaux. A pre-established schedule guides residents through their daily activities throughout the entire year.

Are the weekend activities included?

European Soccer Pro Academy provides comprehensive experiences, covering all costs associated with activities. Nevertheless, residents should be aware that personal expenses are not included. Additionally, there are 5 exclusive field trips available (though not mandatory) that incur an extra fee. These excursions may include trips to Paris, Barcelona, Bordeaux, Bagnères-de-Luchon and Argeles-sur-mer.

Where do players live?

Each player has a private room, equiped with a queen bed, kitchenette in a modern and secured residence.

What is the performance center like?

European soccer pro academy is collaborating with the CREPS de Toulouse, in order to provide top-of-the-line amenities: natural fields, classrom, fully equipped gym, and a cafeteria.

What is the culinary Experience at the Residency Academy?

At the European Soccer Pro Academy, our athletes enjoy a culinary experience curated in partnership with Boucherie Charcuterie Traiteur Loubatieres, a distinguished culinary establishment. Loubatieres, renowned for its commitment to quality and culinary excellence, provides athletes with delicious and nourishing lunch and dinner options during their stay. Chef Damien crafts a diverse array of hot and cold dishes daily, using fresh market produce. This menu is thoughtfully designed to accommodate various dietary preferences and nutritional needs, ensuring our athletes receive top-notch cuisine.

Does European Soccer Pro Academy have a code of conduct?

We expect individuals, including players, coaches, and staff, to maintain a flawless attitude both on and off the field. We retain the right to suspend or expel anyone who fails to adhere to the established code of conduct. See the code of conduct here.

Who provides health insurance for players?

All players must be individually insured. Its is mandatory that all participants have health insurance covering sports activities in France.

If emergency or need for medical assistance?

EMERGENCY: If there is an emergency, we promptly contact emergency professionals who will carry out the necessary procedures for the injured person. Simultaneously, we inform the family as soon as the student is en route to the hospital and maintain effective communication throughout. Additionally, we assist with transportation from the airport to the hospital or center, ensuring that families reach the injured athlete swiftly.

NON-EMERGENCY: In non-emergency situations, we reach out to medical professionals who perform the required procedures on the injured individual. For further examination, we arrange transportation to the nearest hospital for necessary medical tests.

SICKNESS: In the case of illness, the European Soccer Pro Academy will promptly engage the services of a medical professional, including an MD Doctor, who can conduct on-site consultations or schedule appointments at a city office as needed.

What is the distance to the nearest hospital?

The Hospital Center University De Toulouse (Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Toulouse) is only 1.8 kilometers or 1.1 mile away.

What is the cost of participating in the Residency Academy?

Costs may vary depending on the duration of the program. The Residency Academy is available for 10 months, 6 months, 3 months, 2 months or 1 month. Players have the option to choose full boarding accomodation or non boarding accomodation.

  • For 10 months, the pro academy with full boarding accomodation costs 5500 euros per month, or 2000 euros per month without boarding accomodation
  • For 6 months, the pro academy with full boarding accomodation is 5800 euros per month, or 2250 euros per month without boarding accomodation
  • For 1, 2 or 3 months, the pro academy with full boarding accomodation is 6200 euros per month, or 2500 euros per month without boarding accomodation
